SHOW INFORMATION:

RMSF is a one-day live show held in Aurora, CO part of the Denver metro area. Close to the Rocky Mountains, this part of the country offers world famous scenery and attractions like Rocky Mountain National Park, Pike’s Peak, Garden of the Gods, Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel, ski resorts like Aspen and Vail, as well as tons of Denver attractions like the Denver Art Museum, the Molly Brown House and the Mint. NAMHSA: 

Rocky Mountain Spring Fling is an approved NAMHSA member show. Any horse receiving a 1st or 2nd place in a NAMHSA class is eligible to compete at NAN 2018 through 2021. Youth classes are not NAN qualifying. http://www.namhsa.org/

Judges are permitted to enter any division they are not judging except for Performance.

  • Pottery medallions and giftware for Overall Division Champs courtesy of Studio Michaud and Best in Show by Westerly Design. 

  • Best in Show awards are a BIG surprise (for now)!

  • Judges choice awards

 

SHOWHALL:

With 7,200 sq ft and large tables, space is not at a premium, however, you are encouraged to enter early as space is not infinite and we will have EIGHT RINGS as well as vendor space. The hall opens at 8:00am and classes start at 9:00 am.

 

VENDORS: 

Vendors are welcome and pay a table charge of $50.00, each additional table is $25.00. Space for vendors is dependent on number of entries. More info on the entry info page. 

 

SALES: 

Entrants are allowed to sell items. Sales are permitted from your table.

 

RAFFLE:

We are planning on having an expansive raffle to help finance the show. We are seeking donations for both and plan to allow proxy bidding/entry. More info forthcoming.

There will also be a special raffle for early entrants and another general raffles for all entrants at the show.

 

SPONSORSHIPS:

If you’d like to be a part of the show to help out is you or your business can become a sponsor! Sponsorship levels are: 

  • Entire Division - $50 (i.e. Artist Resins, or Custom Glaze, or Performance) 

  • Section - $25 (i.e. AR Stock Breeds, or English Performance)

  • Single Class - $5

  • Open Sponsorship – any misc. amount the sponsor wishes to contribute

Sponsors will be listed in the show program, at their ring for their div/section/class and announced over the PA.

SNACK TABLE:

There will be a snack table with munchie available throughout the show. I'd like to do a pot luck for the snack table. I will provide some stuff but the more the merrier! If you bring something for the snack table like chips or cookies I will give you 5 free raffle tickets. If you bring a dish I will give you 10!

 

LUNCH: 

An hour lunch break will occur AROUND noon as the classes fall. We will have snack food available all day and a traditional BBQ lunch will be catered for optional fee for those who want to participate. For those who don't, we advise bringing lunch as fast food and restaurants are not convenient to the fairgrounds.We will have vegetarian options.

 

HOTEL: There is no host hotel but her is a list of hotels as well as amenities closest to the show site:

Located just a short distance from the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds and Park, Southlands Mall provides a vast array of shopping and dining options.

Fairfield Inn and Suites
